As a tech enthusiast it is my responsibility to give you the update about the major tech trends in 2020. In this article I share with you top 5 immediate trends everyone should get ready for.

According to Forbes article, Sep 30, 2019 by Bernard Marr-Enterprise Tech, following are the major top 5 tech trends.

As highlighted in a book "Artificial intelligence in practice" by Bernard Marr most company have started to explore how AI can be used to improve customer relations and smooth business flow, and it will continue in 2020 as business started using AI models for designing deploying, AI will remain a expensive proposition for many businesses . For that reason many of the business out there will provide AI as a service platform. This will allow the business to only put there data and pay for the algorithm and compute resources as it will be used.

Today, Giants like amazon, google, Microsoft are providing AI as a service often expensive because of custom engineering according to the organization requirements. That means in 2020 more tailored, specific services and specialized task will be adopted by tech organizations and others. It means company will have no excuses left for not using AI.

46% of US consumers feel better about AI according to the Consumer attitude and business attitude is 89% of financial firms agree that the intelligent use of data and analytics becoming the only differentiation in the financial industry. and 95% increase due to chatbot impact.

In computer terms "vision" means system that are able to identify object, people, locations from visual images which are collected from camera or sensors, something like a smartphone camera where the face gets detected on an image and a technology like google image search.

As we are moving to 2020 more of computer vision tools can be seen and we can see how autonomous car can see and navigate their way around danger. Their are many application to computer vision production line will employ computer vision cameras to watch defective products or equipment failures and security camera will able to alert us on anything out of ordinary with 24/7 monitoring.

Computer vision is also about face recognition which we will hear a lot in 2020, we have seen how useful the technology in Apple face id but somehow with some much power there are many debate we will see in 2020 about the privacy and all.

So, what is Extended reality you might think or many of you know what it is? Extended reality is a combination of virtual, augmented and mixed reality, where virtual reality (VR) provides digital experience where you enter a computer generated world using a headset that blend out as a real world. Augmented reality (AR) overlays digital object in real world via smartphone or displays (like Snapchat filters). Mixed reality (MR) is a extension of AR where user can interact with the digital object overlays in real world. Hololens by Microsoft is a well known example of MR like playing a virtual guitar in your room.

These technology is around us for a while now, but it is more of compressed to the world of entertainment with oculus headset and vive providing the current state of the art video games, smart phone feature such as camera filters, Pokemon go kind of games providing the most visible king of example for AR.

More and more used of Extended reality (XR) will come into picture in 2020 for training simulation in businesses, educations, physical training and many more.

Blockchain technology is been with us for quite a time but yet still the blank looks when you mention it to non tech savvy company. 2020 could finally be the year when all that changes. So most of us know that blockchain is digital ledger used to record digital transactions but secured due to its encrypted and decentralized in nature. In 2019 most of commentators began to argue that the technology is over hyped and not useful as first thought. but due to giants like FedEC, IBM, walmart, mastercard invested during 2019 showed real world results, and if this continued it will lead to an adoption by smaller player.

I think it has been adopted by most of the small companies in full speed as i can see few of my friends are working as a intern in some companies where they have to use blockchain technologies.

And if things go as plan, 2020 will also see facebook's and many giant tech companies using blockchain.

So technology is taking over everything even healthcare with a great speed, our ability to capture data from wearable devices such as smartphones is giving us the ability to track out health and any health issues even before the symptoms is experienced.

And when it comes to treatment we can see more personalized approach, which is also known as precision medicines which allow doctors to more precisely prescribe medicine to the patients and apply treatments.

Not a new idea but thank to new technologies coming into picture like AI, genomics, it is giving us greater idea of how the patient body will react to which medicine and environment based on there past history and how can they fight of specific diseases and how likely they will react to specific medications or treatments.

In 2020 will see many applications to predictive healthcare and more personalized treatments to ensure better outcomes for patients.

There are many more technology trends which are likely to be seen in 2020:

1. 5G data network

2. Autonomous driving

3. IOT

This technology trends will be discussed in details in my further blogs, so stay tuned guys, This is just the start. you will see amazing topics and you will learn a lot. Thank you😁
